As expected, Adam Schefter was a very busy man on Monday. It was always going to be that kind of day for anyone who covers the NFL, given that free agency is now underway. But Schefter is extra special in that regard as he’s always on top of all the big scoops.
The ESPN insider should be used to multitasking by now as he’s had to do TV, take and make calls, and most importantly, TWEET…
Sometimes, he has to do all of the above at the same time and was shown walking off the set of ESPN’s Free Agency Countdown SportsCenter Special on Monday while taking a call that appeared to be pretty important.
“The man is a machine,” Field Yates said of his colleague.

While Aaron Rodgers hasn’t announced his decision yet, it was still a pretty busy day around the NFL. The Chicago Bears absolutely cooked, making three major signings in Tremaine Edmunds, T.J. Edwards, and Nate Davis.
The Las Vegas Raiders also replaced Derek Carr with Jimmy Garoppolo while their backup QB from last year, Jarrett Stidham, joined the Denver Broncos in a move that’s likely to worry Russell Wilson.
At one point, Trey Wingo tweeted that Rodgers to New York was a done deal but that was quickly rebuffed, much to the distaste of Jets fans.
