Adam Schefter was very excited on Thursday night. We all were.
All sports have basically been put on pause due to the coronavirus pandemic and sports fans have been starving for something sports related to happen.
Echoing how many feel, Schefter tweeted his relief ahead of the event. “For the first time in what feels like forever, a real live sporting event.”
Unfortunately for him, the WNBA held its draft last Friday and he was reminded of that fact.

Schefter would soon get back on Twitter and apologize to anyone who was offended by his tweet.
Even though the draft was held by his network, you can’t really blame him for the mistake. The reality is clear as day, and it’s just not many people pay enough attention to the WNBA to remember certain things about it.
He clearly had no malicious intent by it.
