DeAndre Hopkins has his pick on where he will end up this offseason, but it appears he can cross one destination off that list.
On Monday, ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler appeared on Keyshawn, JWill, and Max, and said his “money” is on the Buffalo Bills or Kansas City Chiefs finding a way to sign Hopkins because they are in an “arms race” in the AFC.
On Wednesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter eliminated the Buffalo Bills as a contender to sign Hopkins if the WR is looking for a big payday.
“As for the Buffalo Bills and DeAndre Hopkins, the way it was explained to me, is people doubt he will wind up in Buffalo. They never say never, but if he wants his money I don’t think he’ll get it in Buffalo.”
Having Hopkins paired with Stefon Diggs as well as their other weapons would’ve been virtually unfair to any defense trying to stop them.
Hopkins appeared in only nine games for the Cards last season because he missed six games as a result of a performance-enhancing drug policy violation, and another two games because of various injuries.

Despite that missed time, he finished with 64 receptions for 717 yards and three touchdowns, meaning he was on pace for an All-Pro-caliber season had he played all 17 games.
The soon-to-be 31-year-old showed last season that he is still an elite talent. He also owns an impressive track record that includes five Pro Bowl selections and three first-team All-Pro nods in 10 NFL seasons with the Houston Texans and Cardinals.
If winning a Super Bowl in the near future is high on Hopkins’ list of priorities, he will have to look elsewhere since the Bills cannot accommodate him.
