Five teams are reportedly in on the DeAndre Hopkins’ sweepstakes.
The Arizona Cardinals’ Pro Bowl wideout has been the subject of trade rumors for a couple of months now. The official league new year started last week, but the 30-year-old remains a Cardinal for the time being.
Citing sources, former NFL cornerback and special teams returner Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and revealed that there are five teams in contention to land the five-time Pro Bowler.
Jones’ sources told him that those teams are the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots.
Baltimore and New England especially have a pressing need for a true WR1. The Bills have a superstar pass-catcher in Stefon Diggs but of course could use a playmaker like “Nuk” to help them get over the playoff hump.
The Falcons have two young stud pass-catchers in wideout Drake London and tight end Kyle Pitts, but it wouldn’t at all hurt to bring in a veteran like Hopkins to help. The Raiders have Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow and Jakobi Meyers as their top three weapons, but adding Hopkins would give them the best receiving corps in the league.

The Cardinals acquired Hopkins in a stunning blockbuster trade with the Houston Texans three years ago. Hopkins played an instrumental role in helping the franchise end a six-year playoff drought in the 2021 season, though they were eliminated by the Los Angeles Rams on Wild Card Weekend.
