It’s no secret that Adam “Pacman” Jones has never had an issue speaking his mind and he had no trouble giving his thoughts on what happened in the AFC Championship game.
The Chiefs beat the Bengals 23-20 in the AFC Championship Game. Officiating was questionable, at best. While it was a tightly contested game throughout, Cincinnati fans fumed over the result and how a number of calls and no calls helped out the home team.
Perhaps their biggest gripe came in the game’s final minute when the Bengals punted the ball away and refs officials missed an illegal block in the back that would have negated the huge gain by Chiefs receiver Skyy Moore.
A couple of plays later, Joseph Ossai’s brutal late hit on Patrick Mahomes put the Chiefs in field-goal range. However, a holding penalty wasn’t called on that same play that would negated that gain as well.
On Twitter, former Bengals CB Adam “Pacman” Jones went nuclear as he called out the league and the refs for fixing the game for the Chiefs.
“#NFLRigged” was trending on Twitter through Sunday night into Monday morning. The bad taste from this loss won’t soon go away.
