New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has revealed his new nickname for Zach Wilson.
Wilson will be playing behind Rodgers next season, which should also be the case in 2024 as the veteran QB has made it clear that he will be around past the end of the upcoming term.
The younger signal-caller turned 24 on Thursday and received a funny birthday message from Rodgers. Taking to Instagram, the four-time NFL MVP posted a photo of the new 24-year-old in Captain America-type get-up, along with the caption: “Happy 24th Birthday little bro,” Rodgers wrote.

Rodgers and Wilson have a great relationship and had been friends way before the former was traded from the Green Bay Packers.
The older QB is hoping to mentor Wilson this season, saying as much to reporters ahead of next season.

“I hope this time for him is like a deep inhale and exhale and he can really take a breath and pause and deal with the disappointment of last year and the frustration, and then channel it,” he was quoted as saying.
“I feel like he has, just re-channel it as a positive and focus on the opportunity in front of him to learn with a guy who loves him and cares about him and wants him to be great and wants him to do incredible things every day and be better.”
Wilson will be on show in the Hall of Fame game against the Cleveland Browns this Thursday as Rodgers will sit this one out.
