Aaron Rodgers has all but lost his hold on the state of Wisconsin amid his issues with the Green Bay Packers.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Todd Rosiak, an advertisement for Bergstrom Autos featuring Rodgers appeared on the big screen in between innings at Citizens Bank Park and things got crazy at the ballpark with fans. The very sight of Rodgers sparked a chorus of boos from some members of the crowd.
The Packers quarterback has been enthralled with non-stop controversy since ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed he demanded a trade and even threatened retirement over never wanting to play for the team again.
Another report suggested Rodgers would only return if the Packers get rid of general manager Brian Gutekunst.
The quarterback has been frustrated since the team took Jordan Love with a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft instead of an offensive weapon that could’ve been used in theri NFC Championship game against the Tampa Bay Bucs a few months ago.
Not everybody is on his side as Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw was among the vocal critics, saying “him being that upset shows me just how weak he is.”
