Over the past week, we have seen multiple members of the New York Jets taking to social media to recruit Aaron Rodgers to the team. On the flip side, we have seen none of Rodgers’ current teammates on social media at all.
ESPN’s Gary Ellerson brought up the fact that none of them have been vocal online to keep him in Green Bay.
Packers cornerback Rasul Douglas took to Twitter on Sunday and responded to that notion.
“Because we have his number . We can actually text him instead of writing it on social media . As our leader he knows how each person on the roster feels about him,” Douglas wrote.
It’s no secret that his teammates want him back because, without him, the team would likely be headed in rebuild mode with Jordan Love behind center.
It seems that everything is set up for Aaron Rodgers to play his 2023 season with the New York Jets. Now, all that needs to be determined is whether the former Cal star will actually play in the 2023 season.
