Aaron Rodgers has finally gotten his move to the New York Jets following weeks of uncertainty and will be wearing a new number, as well as new threads next season.
The Jets and Green Bay Packers were only able to reach an agreement on Monday despite the former wanting the veteran quarterback and the latter ready to move on from him since the end of the season.
The 18-year veteran QB will replace Zach Wilson as the Jets’ starter and he’s wasted no time letting the youngster know there’ll be no fighting for the position. Of course, that much is obvious, yet Rodgers seems the type to rub it in and, if you go to his Twitter account, you’ll see that his most recent like is that tweet bearing a quote of Wilson claiming he would make a vet’s life hell in every practice should the Jets sign one.
Well, the quote hasn’t aged well and fans have been rinsing Zach over it. It appears Rodgers is taking a sly dig himself, having liked the tweet.
Maybe the four-time MVP just found out about the quote, who knows? But it could make for an awkward first meeting between the pair.

Wilson might actually find that getting benched in favor of Rodgers is great for his career. It might benefit him to take a step back and learn from one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game.
His mom certainly seems to think so.
