Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansa City Chiefs, is a man who can multitask.
If you’ve been watching TV lately, then you’ve seen the Kansas City Chiefs tight end participating in a Pfizer advertisement where he urges people to get their flu shot at the same time as their updated COVID-19 vaccine.
You can tell this was shot many months ago because Kelce hasn’t rocked his signature goatee all season long, nor doing the preseason.
On Tuesday, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was on The Pat McAfee Show talking about the Jets almost defeating the Kansa City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.
In doing so, Rodgers took a shot at Kelce over his new advertisement by giving him a new nickname.
“He didn’t have a crazy game, and you know Mr. Pfizer, we kinda shut him down a little bit. He didn’t have like a crazy impact game. Obviously, he had some yards and stuff, but I felt like for the most part, we played really tough on defense.”

Rodgers was notably against the NFL pushing for vaccine mandates so he told the media he got immunized, which nobody knew at the time meant he had his own way of dealing with the global pandemic. When he was later found out, he doubled down on it and insisted that he didn’t want to put things in his body that he was allergic to or didn’t know about.
Kelce had just six catches for 60 yards and zero touchdowns against the Jets. The previous week, he had seven catches for 69 yards and one touchdown.
In the end, the Chiefs won the game, which was their third-straight after dropping the season opener.
