Aaron Rodgers got chippy with a New York Giants linebacker during preseason and had some words for the player that was caught by the ‘Hard Knocks’ mics.
Rodgers ended his short preseason with a touchdown pass to Garrett Wilson that was apparently triggered by Jihad Ward poking the bear. Ward made a late shove on Rodgers that the quarterback didn’t appreciate and returned the favor, asking him “What the F is that?” before telling him to show some respect.
“I’ve never heard of you,” he added.
Rodgers would later throw that TD pass to Garrett before telling Ward. “Don’t poke the bear.”
The episode, the fourth and penultimate of the aforementioned series, showed Rodgers speaking to teammates on the sideline after the mini dust-up.
“I threw that ball and he F took five steps and pushed me,” he said, claiming he hit the LB with a line that was “un-comeback-withable.”
“I said, ‘I don’t even know who you are.’ And he said, ‘I don’t know who you are.’

The episode also shows a young fan telling the QB he shouldn’t consider retiring anytime soon and Rodgers asking why he would want to do that. At another point, he’s seen joking with Randall Cobb after his former Green Bay Packers teammate got called for an illegal blindside block.
