Is Aaron Rodgers to the Jets a done deal? NFL Insiders Trey Wingo and Dan Orlovsky have already suggested that much, and now it seems as though the Jets players are confirming it as well.
On Monday afternoon, the Jets’ three superstars from their 2022 draft class — cornerback Sauce Gardner, wide receiver Garrett Wilson, and running back Breece Hall — were expressing their join on Twitter. But it wasn’t just them celebrating the possibility of Rodgers joining Gang Green. They clearly seemed to be talking like it was a done deal.
I mean, Hall even claimed he “spoke it into existence,” while adding that “the cheesehead did it.”
As for Wilson, he also appeared to confirm that Rodgers was officially a New York Jet when he said, “I can finally enjoy my vacay now.”

Both offensive stars are obviously ecstatic about the trade…which has not been made official as of yet.
Even Sauce Gardner was loving the news — even though it meant he’d now be going up against Aaron Rodgers at practice, instead of the three-headed monster of Mike White, Zach Wilson and Joe Flacco.
Based on all of the reports and the reactions from the players, it seems likely that this trade will be announced in the coming days (or hours). At this point, both teams are likely just dotting all the i’s and crossing the final t’s before letting everyone know what kind of package the Jets are giving up for the four-time NFL MVP.
