It appears that Aaron Rodgers will go just about anywhere and do anything as long as it’s happening in New York.
The veteran quarterback joined the New York Jets this year as part of a blockbuster trade that saw him leave the Green Bay Packers. And he’s really having the time of his life as he’s been spotted at some of the most trendy events, including the NBA playoffs and Taylor Swift concerts.
Rodgers was at Ed Sheeran’s concert just this weekend, pulling up to the event on Saturday night. And it’s thought that he had some female company too.
That was not enough for the four-time NFL MVP, who was also in attendance when the 2023 Tony Awards took place at United Palace on Sunday night. The yearly event honors Broadway and theater performers and hosts amazing performances from the nominees. Still, it’s hardly on the level of the Oscars or Met Gala and it’s not somewhere one would expect to see an NFL star.
Sure enough, Rodgers was on hand, as was Jets teammate C.J. Uzomah, looking very much out of place as he went viral on Twitter. It appears he was pretty confused throughout the whole thing, and the internet loved it.
