It took all of one week for Aaron Rodgers to start missing Davante Adams.
The offense needed him badly, but the defense needed to be much better if the team was going to have any chance of defeating the Minnesota Vikings.
Justin Jefferson torched Green Bay’s defensive backs, posting a career-high 184 yards along with two touchdowns on nine receptions. The Packers fell into a hole that another terrible offensive effort could not dig them out of because they were unable to respond to Jefferson.
After the game was over, Rodgers was caught on camera telling Jefferson that he was the best player in the league.
Rodgers looked miserable for much of the game and it was evident when cameras caught him yelling up a storm as the team headed into halftime with zero points.
