During their last moments together, there were numerous reports of how Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy did not get along during the coach’s final days in Green Bay, but if they were ever true, the bad feelings seem to have faded now.
Rodgers stated earlier this week he had texted a congratulatory message to his former coach after McCarthy landed the Dallas Cowboys job.
The Packers QB stated how surprised he was McCarthy would take the job that did not include GM responsibilities.
Rodgers also suggested that he would be interested in seeing the Packers and Cowboys hold joint practices during training camp.
Clearly, time heals all wounds and Rodgers seems pleased his former coach has landed back on his feet.
