Some of Aaron Rodgers’ recent social media activity seems to suggest that the New York Jets quarterback is not a fan of sunscreen.
Rodgers, who is known to be anti-vaccine, at least where the COVID-19 vax is concerned, could also be anti-sunscreen as he liked a social media post from former Pro Bowler Russell Okung that trashes the protective cream.
Okung, a Super Bowl winner with the Seattle Seahawks, took to X this week to reveal a conversation he had with his toddler about sunscreen.
“Proud based parent moment,” it reads. “My four year old stopped me asked why other people use sunscreen. I looked at him seriously and responded, ‘Corporations push propaganda machines to make the masses believe that sun is bad for them. We have a different view, now let’s go.’”
Rodgers liked the post, while Okung has dropped a few more since.
“Sunlight plays a vital role in human health. Don’t sunblock your blessings,” one read.

“Yes, apply sun liberally. The body’s intelligence is a mystery to science. Health freedom lies in the integrity and intuition which comes from above,” another noted.
Lots of folks aren’t thrilled about sunscreen given all of the chemicals therein, though they aren’t averse to using it as being sunburnt is not a great experience. There’s also the risk of skin cancer.
Of course, sunlight is also very beneficial. That’s why you can grab a bottle of Vitamin D pills from the shelf at your local store if you don’t get enough.
