Aaron Rodgers and Sauce Gardner are becoming fast friends in New York and have already come up with a cool smoking handshake which fans have fallen in love with.
The Jets are the feature team for this year’s iteration of HBO’s Hard Knocks and the first episode premiered on Tuesday exposing a pretty rad handshake between the aforementioned stars.
Sauce did all he could to get A-Rod in New York, and when the trade finally went through, the chemistry was instant. They went to a Knicks game together moments after the deal became official.
The video above shows a heartwarming interaction between the players, with the cornerback sharing his Hall of Fame aspirations. But that’s not all, you could see Rodgers and Gardner performing their new handshake below as well.
The thing is pretty complicated but is highlighted by the Jets stars pretending to smoke before putting it out. The reactions have been great too.

The Jets were an easy choice for Hard Knocks following Rodgers’ arrival, though they did not want to do it, and the show looks to be set for a major bounce back given the selection.
