Could Aaron Rodgers be on the move? His social media post on Monday sure makes it seem as if he is on his way out of Green Bay. If that was the case, he did not give us anything during his appearnace on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday.
In his social media post, he posted one photo that showed him missing as it showed wide receivers Davante Adams and Randall Cobb, standing on the field for the national anthem before a game against the Kansas City Chiefs this past season.
Rodgers was not in between Adams and Cobb because he was forced to miss the game due to COVID-19. During an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” today, Rodgers admitted the picture had a special significance for him.
When the season came to an end for the Packers, Rodgers admitted that he would make a decision about his future plans as soon as he could instead of dragging out the process like last year. Rodgers said he hasn’t ruled out anything, including possibly returning to the Packers for an 18th season.
Rodgers won his second straight MVP award after the team went 13-4 in the regular season and won a third straight NFC North title before losing 13-10 at home to the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional playoffs.
This year, Rodgers’ on-the-field play was stellar, with 4,115 passing yards, 40 touchdowns, and only four interceptions.
