When it comes to the internet on April 1st, there’s one rule and one rule only: PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
It’s already hard enough to believe anything you read on the internet on a regular day. On the first day of April, you have to be even more mindful of the fake news.
Of course, there are always those who either neglect this rule, or fail to remember to check their calendar. Either way, these folks always get suckered into a good ol’ April Fools joke. They’re the reason people still try them.
That brings us to our video…which was an April Fools joke…about Aaron Rodgers retiring. As you probably are well aware, A-Rod DID NOT retire. But, judging by the comments section on YouTube, we were still able to fool quite a few people with our joke.
Could you imagine? Aaron Rodgers suddenly hanging up the cleats? Less than one year after Andrew Luck made the same shocking decision?
It was enough to give some Packers fans a near-heart-attack, while other were clearly on higher alert and were left unphased.
