Aaron Rodgers returned to the field on Sunday, and while it wasn’t a pretty looking game, the team got back on the winning side of things after taking a loss to the Chiefs without him last week.
Rodgers returned from a one-game COVID-19-induced layoff that included a becy of conversations about his perspectives on vaccination.
During the broadcast, Tony Romo praised Rodgers for “taking responsibility” for admitting that he’d been deceptive about his vaccination status.
After the game, a reporter did not hold back as he asked Rodgers how he would feel if he had to miss the Super Bowl if he tested positive.
Rodgers would not take the bait and refused to answer the what-if scenario.

As for the game itself, Rodgers went 23 of 37 completions for 292 yards, zero touchdowns and an interception.
Rodgers hasn’t found too many friends to take his side publicly, but his estranged father certainly is proud of him. Ed Rodgers told USA Today that he supports his 37-year-old son’s choice to look at different forms of treatment instead of getting vaccinated against the novel coronavirus.
“I think he tried to probably treat himself naturally, like a lot of folks do,” Ed said, according to People. “And there’s a lot of great natural things out there, which help mitigate the virus. So I’m proud of him. I’m proud he went that route.”
“The main thing [is] I just support him,” Ed said. “I’m proud of him. I trust his judgment and decisions. I think that’s what I would’ve done.”
