The last thing Chicago fans wanted to see was two Aaron Rodgers – but that’s exactly what appeared to happen during the Bears-Packers game Sunday at Lambeau Field.
As the Packers quarterback was on the field, many started questioning who then was the man looking just like him in the stands watching him perform on the field.
The real Aaron Rodgers addressed the situation during his weekly Tuesday appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show.”
“I was basically trying to astro-project my self into the stands,” Rodgers joked dryly. “And I was able to do that and then they found me, somehow. That was an astro-projection of my own body, with a filled-in beard.”

“Great beard by the way.”
“That was a total plant by NBC,” Rodgers laughed.
The Bears franchise has been tortured enough with the real Aaron Rodgers owning them. They don’t need another one appearing out of thin air.
Battling through a toe injury, Rodgers completed 29 of 37 passes for 341 yards and four touchdowns. His final touchdown pass to Davante Adams marked the 61st career passing touchdown for Rodgers against Chicago.
After an offseason of speculation about his future, Rodgers was asked if this could be his final game against Chicago as Green Bay’s quarterback.
“I’m not really thinking about that right now,” Rodgers said in his postgame press conference. “I’m devoting all my energy and focus to this season. I don’t think it’s my last against the Bears. I feel like one of the factors in continuing to play would be, you know, can I still play? Do I still have it? Can I still be effective and efficient and can make the plays I feel like I’m capable of making? And I think the answer is yes.”
