Aaron Rodgers’ parents are blaming his old girlfriend, Olivia Munn, for their fallout.
The New York Jets quarterback is the subject of a new book set to launch later this month titled “Out Of The Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers,” in which his strained relationship with his parents has been detailed by author Ian O’Connor.
According to Ed and Darla Rodgers, Munn put the rift in motion after the QB had a bad game in 2014 (H/T TMZ).
They claim to have visited their son in Green Bay just before he played the Buffalo Bills in early December and returned home with no issue but received a call from Munn, who told them they were no longer wanted at his next game, a road fixture against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Ed says he told Munn she hadn’t “been on the scene very long. You’re just his girlfriend. We’re his parents.”
They did make the trip to Tampa, although they did not see Rodgers. They later received an email from him stating, “Don’t attack the woman I love.”
According to A-Rod’s parents, they didn’t have another full conversation with him until nine years later.

Aaron Rodgers’ Parents Claim Olivia Munn Made Up Lies About Them
Ed and Darla also accuse Munn of spreading lies about the family in the book, claiming she told the media trouble was already brewing before she came along.
“She said the family was dysfunctional before she met Aaron, which is bull,” the QB’s dad said. “We were going to all of his games; we were staying at his house. We had a great relationship. Nothing bad was going on.”
As for Aaron Rodgers, he told O’Connor, “his family issues are deep-rooted” while refusing to blame Munn.
The actress has refused to comment.
