Aaron Rodgers has emerged from darkness, but yet, he still has everybody in the dark about what he is going to do with the remainder of his career.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback gave no timetable about if he will play in 2023, saying he will make a decision “soon enough” and that “all the answers are inside me.”
The four-time NFL MVP appeared on the Aubrey Marcus podcast and was asked about if he will return for a 19th season.
He only has one question for the team should he decide to play for them.
“I’m under contract with the Packers, so if I decide to play, first it’s a conversation with them. ‘Where are you guys at, honestly?’ I’ve been there 18 years and have so much love for the organization and Green Bay. 18 years — that’s a teenager,” Rodgers said, via Packers insider Zach Jacobson.
Last month, Rodgers said he would make a decision after he came back from a “isolation retreat.”

The 39-year-old Rodgers is coming off a 2022 season where he posted his lowest ever quarterback rating and the Packers went 8-9 and missed the postseason following a Week 18 loss to the Detroit Lions.
If he decides to play, Rodgers will earn $59 million in guaranteed money for the 2023 season after he signed a mega extension last offseason.
If he decides to retire or get traded, the Packers have former first-round pick Jordan Love waiting on the bench as their next quarterback option.
Everything can be decided once he makes his final decision on what he wants to do.
