A certain comment made on the Pat McAfee Show by star quarterback Aaron Rodgers seems to suggest the veteran is considering an exit from the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers, who appeared on the show this week after narrowly missing the playoffs via a Week 18 loss to the Detroit Lions, is the subject of rumors again, much like fellow QB Tom Brady.
The Green Bay signal-caller hasn’t won a Super Bowl in over a decade, with his only win coming in 2011 at the end of a showdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He hasn’t reached the NFL’s championship decider since then either and is now thought to be considering his options as there is still a desire to end his career with at least one more ring, as well as another MVP season.
“I think I can win MVP again in the right situation.. is that Green Bay or somewhere else, I’m not sure and there’s more conversations to be had,” he told the show’s hosts this week.
Rodgers has a great relationship with Packers fans, which is a lot more than can be said for the organization itself as things have been frosty with management.
Should Rodgers decide to make himself available, he’s likely to be embarrassed with suitors as there are already multiple outfits looking to bring in a new QB for 2023/24.
