On Sunday, Sauce Gardner accused New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones of hitting him below the belt.
“He had got tackled and he reached his hand up to try and get me to help him up and I just moved his hand out the way. So then he gets up and he just comes up to me like ‘Good job’ but while he’s saying that he hit me in my private parts.”
The next day, Gardner shared a video that allegedly showed Jones hitting him in his privates before he shoved Jones to the ground in retaliation.
Jones was tackled by Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley while attempting a quarterback sneak. For his part, Jones has denied he did anything.
On Tuesday, he got called out by Aaron Rodgers.
During his weekly Tuesday appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the injured QB had something to say about what Patriots quarterback Mac Jones did to Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner in Sunday’s game.
“Slapping guys in the nuts is not a good look,” Rodgers said.

It certainly does not help the notion that Mac Jones might be a dirty player. He has been involved in numerous incidents in his short career with many players calling him dirty. If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then it’s a duck.
According to Ian Rapoport, Patriots QB Mac Jones is not expected to be suspended for striking Jets CB Sauce Gardner below the belt. Pelissero says it’s possible Jones could be fined for the incident.
In the meantime, the Jets are dealing with a frustrating 1-2 start to the season after winning their opener and losing back-to-back games to the Dallas Cowboys and the Patriots.
Rodgers won’t be on the field for the second Jets-Patriots game of the season, but he will certainly remember this moment in 202.
