Aaron Rodgers wants his favorite reciever back.
Former wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who played 10 seasons in Green Bay, announced his retirement from the NFL in 2019, but he may need to put that back on hold.
Social media users noticed that Aaron Rodgers official Twitter account liked a post that called for Jordy to come out retirement and join the Packers.
Nelson and Rodgers won a Super Bowl together in 2011. Nelson played in 136 regular season games during his tenure in Green Bay, ranking No. 3 in franchise history in receptions (550), No. 5 in receiving yards (7,848), No. 2 in touchdown receptions (69) and No. 3 in 100-yard receiving games (25).
It’s clear why Rodgers would want him back to see if he has something left in the tank.
Nelson finished his career playing one season with the Oakland Raiders, where he recorded 63 receptions for 739 yards and three touchdowns.
