If Aaron Rodgers’ ankle injury with the New York Jets keeps him out long-term, or even for the remainder of the season, it will also hurt the Green Bay Packers
As noted by former NFL executive Michael Lombardi, the condition for the Packers to get a first-round pick from the Jets in the 2024 NFL Draft depends on Rodgers’ playing time. Lombardi stated he must play 70 percent of the Jets’ offensive snaps for Green Bay to get a first (though it’s actually 65 percent).
We’ll just have to wait for a further update on Rodgers’ condition. Here’s hoping he avoided a serious long-term injury and will be cleared to return in the very near future.
