The New York Jets are showing off new quarterback Aaron Rodgers in his gameday threads for the first time.
The AFC East outfit acquired the QB via a trade with the Green Bay Packers earlier this offseason after he made it clear he wanted out. With the Packers sharing the desire for the split, they allowed him to leave for the team of his choice.
The veteran is set to embark on his first season in a new uniform and said fit was shown off on him this Wednesday, with the Jets taking to Twitter to post the internet’s first real photo of Aaron Rodgers in their kit.
Of course, we got that for you right here:
While the Jets believe they’ve struck gold with the acquisition of Rodgers, it’s likely played a part in getting them some unwanted attention as they’ve since been announced as HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ team for next season.
Rodgers will be expected to deliver instant success, as far as his new team is concerned, especially as he isn’t guaranteed to play next season.

The Jets have been under the impression that they’re only a good QB away from a championship, having watched their other signal-callers struggle. While an immediate Super Bowl win might be a bit of a stretch, failing to reach the playoffs would be a ridiculous failure.
