Jack’s American Pub supposedly made a killing on the New York Jets’ win on Monday night as fans were fooled into running up their tabs because they thought their drinks were going to be free.
The Milwaukee bar announced an intriguing offer prior to the start of the season, promising to cover all tabs for every game Aaron Rodgers loses in a Jets uniform, as long as he starts and the tabs are opened at least 15 minutes before the game starts.
As a requirement to get those free drinks on a Rodgers loss, the Green Bay Packers couldn’t play at the same time.
Well, several fans took the bar up on its offer this Monday and things looked to be going great for them as Rodgers started but was injured and ruled out of the game shortly after beginning his first drive.
The video below shows fans celebrating the injury, believing there was no way the Jets could pull off a win against the Bills with Rodgers out. Things did trend in that direction for some time, however, Josh Allen had a terrible game, coughing up four turnovers that handed NY 10 points before they won it on a walk-off punt return in overtime.
Things changed quickly when the patrons realized they would all have to pay their tabs.

On a brighter note, the deal did not include top-shelf drinks or food, so things could have been a lot worse.
