New York Jets’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a horrendous looking injury on the team’s opening snap and had to be carted away to the locker room.
The Jets immediately announced that Rodgers was questionable to return with an ankle injury, but he was subsequently ruled out for the game.
New slo-mo videos that were quickly released on X (formerly known as “Twitter”) show just how severe Rodgers’ injury looks.
It’s an extremely unfortunate break for Rodgers and the Jets. We can only hope that he avoided a serious injury, and that the four-time league MVP will be back on the field sooner rather than later.
