After being traded to the New York Jets in April, the former Green Bay Packers quarterback has reportedly purchased a newly built $9.5 million mansion in the Montclair area of New Jersey.
The eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom home features a gourmet kitchen, mezzanine, wine cellar, fitness room, media room, home office, and three-car garage with a charging station.
“The contemporary mansion, which sold for $9.5 million, has eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The modern home also features a gourmet kitchen, a wine cellar, and a gym. The home is about 10 miles from MetLife Stadium and about 20 miles from Manhattan,” North Jersey reports.
“A $9.5 million home marked the most expensive sold in Essex County so far this year. The real estate agent for that home could not confirm who bought it.”
One of the home’s attractive qualities is the “panoramic” views of the New York City skyline. The home is considered “ultra-private” but the massive glass doesn’t seem to suggest that. The home is about 10 miles from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where the Jets play.
Everybody that viewed the pictures of the home immediately started asking or saying if that house belonged to John Wick.

Aaron Rodgers was among the real winners of Halloween in 2021 when he grew his hair out and dressed as John Wick. He just may have been going on for that look with his new home.
For those that have never seen any of the movies, John Wixk is a former hitman who is forced back into the criminal underworld he had previously abandoned. Wick is played by legendary actor, Keanu Reeves.
As for Rodgers, he signed a new $112.5 million contract with the Jets at the end of July. This new home purchase is only about 11% of his contract. In the eight years he spent in Green Bay, he brought in $300 million in career earnings, per Spotrac.
Rodgers threw for 3,695 yards and 26 touchdowns in 2022 and the Jets would love those types of numbers again in 2023.
