There is undoubtedly a number of NFL teams who are still kicking themselves that they passed on the opportunity to select QB Aaron Rodgers in the 2005 NFL Draft.
The Green Bay Packers legend is a shoe-in for the hall of fame whenever he retires and is highly regarded as one of the most talented quarterbacks that has ever graced an NFL field.
With the 2019 NFL Draft ahead of us, we look back at the savage quote Rodgers gave about the San Francisco 49ers passing on him in the draft.
“How disappointed are you that you will not be a 49er?” asked the reporter.
“Not as disappointed as the 49ers will be that they didn’t draft me.”
He’s definitely not lying about that as Rodgers has the Super Bowl ring to prove it.
