Aaron Rodgers pulled a LeBron James just before halftime of his team’s game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, but he had a very good reason to do so.
Rodgers threw a touchdown pass with 30 seconds remaining in the first half and assumed they would not get the ball back, so he headed to the locker room.
As Tom Pelissero of NFL Network notes, Rodgers was on his way to the locker room with an athletic trainer for treatment on his injured toe.
After the game, he gave a concerning update on the health of his toe.

Rodgers went 23-of-33 for 385 yards and four touchdowns in the losing effort. He’ll now do whatever he can to rest up and get his toe prepared for the Packers’ week 12 contest against the Los Angeles Rams. After that, he’ll have an extra week to try and get healthy with his team on the bye in week 13.
As for the Vikings, they pick up a much-needed win as they now sit at 5-5 overall. They travel to San Francisco for a matchup against the 49ers next week. Green Bay drops their second-straight road game and now sits at 8-3.
