New York Jets really did not need anything else to be excited about after the team traded for Aaron Rodgers this offseason.
The four-time MVP, who spent nearly two decades with the Green Bay Packers, gave them something to cheer about in practice after his spectacular play.
Rodgers connected with star wideout Garrett Wilson on a touchdown play that made Jets fans go crazy.
“This is good: Aaron Rodgers escapes the pressure and throws a bullet to Garrett Wilson, who managed to keep his feet in for a TD. This duo is looking (@Aram822).”
The 23-year-old enters his second year in the league after a terrific rookie season in 2022. Despite bad quarterback play last year, Wilson still had 1,103 yards and four touchdowns on 83 receptions.

Rodgers’ 3,695 passing yards with the Green Bay Packers in 2022 would have been the fifth-most in a season in Jets’ history. His 26 touchdowns would have tied for the third-most. This was also a down year for him as well.
The 2010 season is the last time the Jets made the playoffs. They are the only team in the NFL with an active playoff drought of 10 or more years.
With Rodgers aboard, the team is looking for more than just a playoff appearance.
