This week, the entire country found out that Aaron Rodgers was unvaccinated, which sparked an outpouring of criticism levied at the star quarterback for intentionally misleading everybody outside the Green Bay Packers facility about his vaccination status for a few months.
Once the initial shock subsided, many started to question whether or not Rodgers has been following the NFL’s COVID protocol for unvaccinated players.
According to the NFL’s rules laid out in June for unvaccinated players, those who do not receive the vaccine cannot participate in endorsement opportunities of any kind during the season.
Well, Rodgers is a spokesperson for State Farm and they recently released a new commercial with Rodgers in early October.
If that was recorded during the 2021 season, then Rodgers has most certainly violated the COVID-19 protocol.
On top of the commercial, Rodgers may have violated another league rule for unvaccinated players. According to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, Rodgers has not been wearing a mask when talking to the media inside the Packers’ facility.

The NFL released a statement on Wednesday, explaining that it plans to “review the matter” with the Packers.
