After it was reported that Aaron Rodgers had tested positive for Covid and would be out for at least 10 days, everyone began to put two and two together and realized that, despite saying he was “immunized” in the offseason, the Green Bay Packers quarterback was, in fact, NOT vaccinated.
From there, the stories began to roll in. Everyone began wondering why Rodgers didn’t get the vaccine. And why he told everyone he did! Some thought it had to do with the beliefs of his fiancee, Shailene Woodley.
Others just chalked this up to typical Aaron Rodgers thinking he’s above everyone else.
Well, Aaron Rodgers decided to make an appearance on the Pat McAfee show today to set the record straight and tell his side of the story. During his appearance, he stated that he did not take the vaccine because the Pfizer and Moderna doses contained an ingredient that he was allergic to. That left just the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which he opted not to take due to the side affects.
He also claimed that he didn’t lie about his vaccination status, that he didn’t wear a mask in preseason because he felt like it was just a way to “out” unvaccinated players, and that he felt like he was a victim of “cancel culture” and “the woke mob.”

Needless to say, many were not impressed with Aaron Rodgers’ reasoning or his decision to play the blame game:
HAte to break it to you, Aaron. But the only one who’s canceling you is yourself…for at least 10 days.
