New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has reiterated that he did not mean to suggest Jimmy Kimmel was on the “Epstein list” while speaking on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ several weeks ago.
Rodgers was a guest on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ this week and had a lot to unpack as he spoke about being vilified for his take on the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as his comments on Kimmel.
The veteran QB explained that his shot at the late-night host stemmed from the latter making him seem like an idiot when he theorized that the reports of UFO sightings were put out there to distract folks amid the startling Epstein developments.
“He had gone on his show and called me a tinfoil-hat-wearing doofus who is talking about the … I thought he had said that I was an idiot for even thinking that there’s a list out there,” Rodgers noted.
Rodgers made it clear that he didn’t think Kimmel’s name would be on the list, claiming people ran with a headline without watching the actual clip of him speaking about the list being released.
The comments caused some friction at ESPN as Kimmel works for ABC, which Disney also owns. The Worldwide Leader in Sports quickly put out an apology in which executive Mike Foss declared that Rodgers’ joke was inaccurate.

Rodgers also revealed that he has since been invited on Kimmel’s show to discuss the issue but isn’t sure he would want to go back, though he is open to having a private conversation with the ABC star before anything like that can happen.
