Aaron Rodgers is dropping some major news in regards to what teams are doing behind the scenes when it comes to COVID-19.
Rodgers joined The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday and expressed his opinions on the current COVID-19 outbreak in the NFL. He also dropped a huge nugget of information when he hinted at non-traditional treatment being used throughout the league:
“There’s still zero conversation, at least publicly, around treatment options for people that test positive. I do know, behind the scenes, this is 100% true, there are many teams who are using or recommending a lot of the same treatments that I got for their players,” Rodgers said, via ClutchPoints.
Rodgers, of course, is referring to when he took medical advice from Joe Rogan to beat the virus after testing positive and being forced to miss Green Bay’s Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Rodgers neglected to name which teams are using non-traditional treatments, so it just becomes a guessing game of which teams he may be speaking of.
On the field for his day job, the Green Bay Packers earned their spot in the playoffs with their Week 15 win over the Baltimore Ravens. They clinched the NFC North with the win and are spending the last few weeks of the season ensuring the top spot in the postseason.
