Remember last offseason when the Green Bay packers and their fan base was reeling over Aaron Rodgers wanting to be traded because of his unhappiness, it appears things might get worse this offseason.
Whatever Aaron Rodgers decides to do, Davante Adams is sure to follow because of the cionnection the two have on and off the field. So it’s not shocking to know that they would be running ideas through each other about their next move.
According to recent reports from NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Rodgers and Adams “would love to team up” with the Denver Broncos.
“Sources tell me that, yes, the relationship between between Rodgers and the Packers is severed… I’m also told that Adams, given his friendship with Rodgers, has grown increasingly frustrated with the Packers’ mistreatment of one of his best friends,” Schultz said.
As you may remember, Rodgers and Adams both posted cryptic messages on social media indicating that this past season could be their “Last Dance” in Green Bay. It appears they would like another shot at a dance, but somewhere else.
Packers beat reporters Matt Schneidman of The Athletic and Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated predict that Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams will follow Rodgers to Colorado to be with Green Bay offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, who is a finalist for their head-coaching vacancy.

“They will trade Rodgers to wherever Nathaniel Hackett’s coaching, probably Denver,” Huber said on The Head of the Pack podcast after Green Bay’s playoff loss to San Francisco. “Adams will go with him because the Broncos have [loads] of cap space.”
“I agree,” Schneidman echoed. “I would’ve said both would stay. After last night, I think the Packers trade Rodgers and Adams in a tag-and-trade to the Denver Broncos, who will have Dan Quinn as their head coach and Luke Getsy calling plays. Adams and Rodgers both love Luke Getsy. So we’ll see what happens there.”
Adams caught 123 of 169 targets for 1,553 yards and 11 touchdowns during the 2021 season.
Rodgers had yet another MVP-like season where he threw for 4,115 yards with 37 TDs and four INTs in 2021.
