Aaron Rodgers was probably trying to get away from all the football drama when he decided to head to Churchill Downs for today’s Kentucky Derby. But his low-key afternoon was not meant to be.
Rodgers was quickly spotted in his suite, and he was approached by NBC for an interview, although he declined to partake. A-Rod did however tell Mike Tirico that he was disappointed at how all of this drama made it into the news. And he also wanted to make sure that the people of Green Bay still know he loves them.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know by now that tensions have been high between Rodgers and the Packers, with the latest news suggesting that the MVP quarterback has played his last game as a Cheesehead.
At the moment, Rodgers is still a Packers. But that could very well change before week 1 of the 2021 season. At this point, thing is off the table, it seems.
