The New York Jets’ lack of offense stems from Aaron Rodgers tearing his Achilles Week 1 and the inept play from his replacements, Zach Wilson and now Tim Boyle.
Wilson took over for an injured Aaron Rodgers after the marquee free agent suffered an Achilles injury early in the season opener. He started the next nine games, going 3-6 as the team struggled to produce offense, before the Jets replaced him with Tim Boyle in a Black Friday loss against the Miami Dolphins.
Boyle got the hook Sunday, with Trevor Siemian replacing him in the second half of a loss to the visiting Atlanta Falcons.
In that game, Wilson and Rodgers could be seen standing next to each other.
A clearly upset Rodgers could be seen mouthing off something to Wilson that made him grin.
NFL fans are now trying to decode what he said.

Wilson has completed 190 of 321 passes this season for 1,944 yards, six touchdowns, seven interceptions, and a passer rating of 73.8.
In their 15-8 embarrassment of a loss to the Atlanta Falcons, Boyle completed 14 of 25 passes for 148 yards, no touchdowns, an interception, and a passer rating of 56.7 before being benched. Siemian completed five of 13 passes for 66 yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions, three sacks, and a passer rating of 55.3.
The Jets next face the Houston Texans next Sunday and things will not be any easier facing off against CJ Stroud.
