Will Aaron Rodgers return for the 2023 NFL season?
It’s the question that has been on every NFL fan’s mind ever since he went down with a torn Achilles in week one against the Buffalo Bills. Ever since Rodgers stated that he fully intends to return this season, skeptics and supporters alike took notice and have been following the Jets quarterback’s development closely.
In recent weeks, we’ve been provided with a better understanding of Rodgers’ mindset and his expectations for his return.
And now, we have an even more concrete target date for Arod’s return.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Rodgers is looking at week 16 as his most-likely comeback date. That would give him three games to close out the season. However, there are two major stipulations. The first being that Rodgers must be able to protect himself out there, which is quite obvious. And the second being that the Jets must still be in the playoff hunt by that point in the season.
