Aaron Rodgers’ Achilles is easily the biggest mystery in the NFL right now.
When the New York Jets quarterback tore his Achilles on his very first drive with his new team during their week 1 game against the Buffalo Bills, everyone thought his season was over. No questions asked.
Fast forward just two months later, and Rodgers is already walking around without a limp and throwing bombs 55-yards down the field during warmups.
Ask anyone now, and chances are they’ll probably tell you that they actually do expect Aaron Rodgers to play again this season — something that seemed unfathomable two months earlier.
One Jets fan who just so happened to meet Aaron Rodgers at the Aria this week seemed pretty confident in Rodgers’ return. And he may have received some affirmation from the four-time NFL MVP, too!
As the story goes, Jets superfan @steliocon22 was at the Aria when someone walked passed him and said, “Nice jersey, man.” At first, the fan didn’t realize who the man was, but then someone yelled from across the hall, “Do you even know who that is?”

That’s when he realized, it was AARON RODGERS!!!
The fan chased Rodgers down, took a photo with him, and told him he can’t wait to see him back this season…to which Rodgers replies with a “real head nod.”
This is just about as good as any Adam Schefter or Ian Rapoport update you’ll get on Aaron Rodgers – at least in my books it is.
A-Rod is coming back, folks. It’s just a matter of when.
