Aaron Rodgers did not sound like himself after the Green Bay Packers fell to the Tampa Bay Bucs at Lambeau Field and failed yet again to get to the Super Bowl.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter went on Get Up! on Monday and spoke about the fluid situation between Rodgers and Packers and what might happen after the NFC Championship loss.
The future hall of famer is under contract with the team for another three years, but Schefter pointed out that Rodgers could threaten retirement and force the team to trade him. He then pointed to the Los Angeles Rams or San Francisco 49ers as being potential trade destinations.
Rodgers reportedly doesn’t live too far away from the Rams.
‘And if Aaron Rodgers tells Green Bay, and I’m not saying he will, but if he tells them ‘I’m not showing up there again and I want to go play in LA’? Guess what? The Packers are stuck!’

The Packers shocked the football world when they traded up in the 2020 NFL Draft and selected QB Jordan Love instead of a top talent that could’ve been used in a game like the uhhh….NFC Championship game.
Rodgers responded on the field by throwing for 4,299 yards, and a league-leading 48 touchdown passes, the most he has thrown in a season in his career.
