The New York Giants 2021 season is over, but they left a lasting memory that summed up their entire year with the Giants’ pathetic surrender of a quarterback sneak call deep in their own territory in Sunday’s season finale against the Washington Football Team.
They not only did it once, but twice, and made the fans that actually showed up booed them off the field. Can’t blame the players as this definitely came from the sidelines.
During his weekly appearance Tuesday on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Aaron Rodgers took a massive shot at the Giants and Joe Judge while being asked about the wild finish to the Chargers-Raiders game.
“You play to win the game. Nobody wants to be part of kneeling the shit out to take a tie. I would lose my mind,” Rodgers said. “You know what would make me lose my mind almost as much as that… third-and-9 on the minus-five, let’s go in goal line personnel and run a QB sneak.”
Rodgers then jokingly said, “Call that one in Matt [LaFleur] and see what happens.”

While Rodgers and the Packers have a week to rest up before the divisional round of the NFC playoffs, the Giants, meanwhile, will soon be hiring a new general manager after Dave Gettleman retired as well as a new head coach after Joe Judge got fired.
