The Jets are happy to have Rodgers on the headset during games amid his injury recovery but it seems they may have him for much more than that based on what he recently said.
The New York Jets quarterback teased a potential return to the field after the team’s 27-6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night. Rodgers met with Chargers star safety Derwin James III at midfield, and the defensive back asked when he was coming back.
“A few weeks,” Rodgers said.
Rodgers suffered a torn Achilles on the Jets’ first drive of the season, and he has been fighting to return.
Well, according to a member of the Dan Le Batard show, his return is possible because he was never hurt.
On Tuesday’s “Dan Le Batard Show,” Billy Gil tossed out the idea that Rodgers never suffered an injury.
Is it crazy to wonder if he never actually tore his Achilles? Is a doctor going to come out and say he’s a liar? There is a benefit on a war on medicine and saying ‘You know what…’

Fans started to believe it:
Three weeks after he tore his Achilles, Rodgers returned to MetLife Stadium on crutches, and then one month after surgery, Rodgers was seen throwing on the field before a Jets game and everyone took it as further proof he was coming back.
It’s great to see Rodgers walking without crutches and throwing footballs less than two months after everyone assumed his season was over with a torn Achilles.
It has now created conspiracy theories that he was never hurt and it will only intensify if he actually does come back and play.
