What are the odds?
Aaron Hernandez was a convicted murderer before he took his life, but what many don’t know is that two of his former teammates from a Bristol Central High School football team also went on to kill as well.
Nick Brutcher, Aaron Hernandez, and Alex Ryng were photographed standing next to each other as teammates. They all played on the same football team, but they also became accused murderers.
Alex Ryng killed his wife in 2014 in their Bristol home before turning the gun on himself. That decision would orphan their three children, who were all under five at the time.
Aaron Hernandez was convicted of the murder of Odin Lloyd, and found not guilty of another murder, before taking his own life and serving a life sentence in prison.
Just a few days ago, Nick Brutcher fired over 80 rounds when he gunned down two police officers and wounded a third officer. The policemen had been lured following a 911 call made by Brutcher, reporting a phony domestic violence incident.

Brutcher died of a single gunshot to the neck, with a spinal injury.
According to the NY Post, stats show that in 2004 that Brutcher and Hernandez played at least nine games together. A source told the Post that Brutcher, who was two years older than Hernandez, didn’t really hang out together beyond being on the team.
Hernandez was only a junior and caught 67 passes for a total of 1,807 yards, according to a Connecticut high school record. He had a dynamic relationship with quarterback Dennis SanSoucie, who would later reveal a secret sexual relationship with the receiving tight end during their middle and high school years.
Days before he died at age 27, Hernandez had been acquitted of a double slaying of two people who had been shot in a 2012 drive-by.
A brain scan would later reveal severe brain injuries consistent with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
