The Los Angeles Rams really needed some good news this offseason and it has come in the form of a dominant player coming back to the team.
Despite the team’s injury-plagued, 5-12 season in 2022, Aaron Donald will be coming back to play at least one more year.
Donald took to Twitter to confirm that he will be back with the Rams as he responded to a video in which Chris Long, his former Rams teammate, said he had “very good reason to believe” Donald would be back in 2023.
“Tell em C Lo yeah I’m (playing) never said I wasn’t,” Donald wrote.
Major rumors had sppread that Donald was done playing after a change to his Twitter profile a few days ago. He would see the uproar and quickly change it back.
Last season, he missed the final six games due to an ankle injury. It was much easier to keep him out since the team was so bad and had no shot of making the playoffs. Donald has two seasons remaining on his three-year, $95 million deal with the Rams.
