Aaron Donald doesn’t even need to be on the field currently for him to break another record.
The Los Angeles Rams star has made history once again, but this time in the digital world.
EA Sports announced the three-time Defensive Player of the Year will have a 99 overall rating again, breaking a tie with Peyton Manning for the most years with the highest rating in the history of the Madden NFL franchise.
“Aaron Donald is back in the #99Club for a record-breaking 7th time, surpassing Peyton Manning.
Manning received the 99 overall rating in six consecutive years starting with Madden NFL 06 and ending with Madden NFL 11. He would be a 98 in 2011 in a season he had to sit out with a neck injury.
Donald has been a 99 overall in every release of the game since Madden NFL 18. His likeness in the game hasn’t been below a 92 since his rookie year in 2014.
