Through two weeks into the AAF season, the San Antonio Commanders are showing they are going to have strong a fan base that will no doubtingly give them a home-field advantage with the amount raging fans who come out to support.
When they took on the San Diego Fleet in Week 1, a whopping 27,857 fans came out to see the new league.
During Week 2, buzz began to roam around the city about the new team, so thousand more decided to show up to watch the team take on the Orlando Apollos.
Not only is that over 2,000 more than last week, but that is more than the average attendance for a Los Angeles Chargers home game in 2017, which was 25,336.

It would’ve been more than the 2018 season as well, but the numbers got inflated for the Chargers due in part to a designated home game in London. If you really want to get technical about it, even though thousands show up to watch the Chargers, most of the fans are from the rival team.
